After a lot of successful planning, designing, building and staging, we’re proud to say that our Murlong Duplex at Palm Beach, Queensland was handed the award for Townhouse/Villa of the Year at two separate events.

Having been finalists on many occasions at Queensland’s Housing Industry Association, our efforts for building 10 Murlong Crescent won us the Townhouse/Villa of the Year award. We also took the same award at the HIA Gold Coast – Northern Rivers awards – something we’re particularly proud of.
What was our secret strategy for winning these awards?
In a nutshell, there wasn’t one. We simply did what we do best, and that’s designing and constructing custom-built houses to our client’s specifications to the highest possible standards.
As with all of the houses we build, we contracted the finest trades in the area to cover each aspect of the Murlong Duplex. Each stage, right from the initial concept to the finer details such as furniture staging was handled by experts in their field, resulting in another property we’re immensely proud to say we built.
As builders, it is indescribably satisfying and rewarding to see a project start from the dusty block of land transform into a beautiful and functional home for families to enjoy. It’s an experience that can’t be put into words, so to see our efforts winning not just one, but two awards is absolutely incredible. The Murlong home is a property we’re more than pleased to have as part of our portfolio.
As usual, no expense was spared
The project took us 9 months to complete, using a unique mix of materials to give the building a good bit of character. In keeping with our usual approach, no expense was spared throughout the entire process. Fixtures included frameless glass for the balustrade for each villa’s staircase, polished porcelain tiles, and Smeg appliances throughout.
It’s these finishing touches that we believe helped us to clinch these coveted awards. We’re firm believers that there’s no point in building a home without addressing the finer details, as they are what helps to make a house become a home.
